Website privacy policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Fusion SBS ("we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it and what rights you have over it.
It covers this website only. It does not cover the Fusion SBS software, which runs on your own computers and is supplied under its own licence agreement.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, work email, organisation, lab type and the content of your message.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver and secure the site.
- Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a person rather than a bot. Under its privacy policy Cloudflare receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details for this check.
- Visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits: the pages viewed, the site that referred you, your country, and your device, browser and operating system. It sets no cookies. Visits are grouped using a hash of your IP address and browser details that is discarded every day, so it cannot identify you or, on its own, recognise you on a later visit. If you choose Allow in our cookie banner, we also store two dates on your device so we can record whether a visit is new or returning; we receive only that label, never the dates. Our cookie policy lists what is stored. We also record when a contact form message is sent and which topic it was about, but not what it said.
We do not use advertising trackers or social media pixels on this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange any demo or follow-up you ask for.
- To keep the website running and protect it against abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it.
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, operating the site and improving it. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
The new or returning visit count is the exception: it relies on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run this website:
- Vercel hosts the website and provides our visit statistics.
- Resend delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Cloudflare provides spam protection on the contact form (Turnstile).
Each receives only what it needs to provide that service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK
These providers are based in the United States, so information about your visit or enquiry may be processed there. Each provider is certified under the UK–US data bridge, and its data processing agreement also includes standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to handle your request and any relationship that follows, and then delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Email fusion@flexible-lab-solutions.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); elsewhere, to your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is intended for professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
